Solidarity towards the Palestinian Children

The Association for the support of needy Palestinian children was founded in 2001 out of the necessity to help Palestinian children in the refugee camps and occupied territories.

The aim of this charitable, politically and religiously independent organisation is to provide help and support to the children of a population, who, for decades, has known only war and unrest. Aid is concentrated mainly in the areas of upbringing and education. For this purpose the association works closely with local social organisations under the motto “Help for Self-Help”.

Support Possibilities

Membership

The Association offers the following membership categories:

Single, family or company membership. As a member you take part in the annual general meeting and can therefore have a direct influence on the goals and activities of the organisation.

Donations

The Association supports different projects towards which one can specifically contribute. Non-specific donations go into a general donation fund. 

Sponsorship

Emphasis is placed on arranging sponsorship of children in the Palestinian refugee camps and in the occupied territories.

Current projects and partner organisations

In the Lebanese Palestinian refugee camps, Beit Atfal Assumoud (BAA) is our partner organisation. Their co-workers, were, among other things, sponsored children who benefited from support and now work as trained social workers.

At present, the Association supports several sponsorships and other projects.

In the occupied territories the woman’s organisation “Palestinian Women Working Society for Development” (PWWSD) is our partner organisation. Through them, palCH arranges the sponsorship of school children and students.
