TravelIt is of special importance to PalCH that sponsors have the possibility to get to know their sponsored child personally. For this reason PalCH organises a trip at least once, or depending on the demand, several times a year to the Lebanon. This way sponsors can spend a day with their sponsored child and in addition, visit kindergartens and other projects supported by PalCH. Participants get a good insight into the daily reality of the refugees in the Palestinian refugee camps and can personally experience where help is necessary and what one as a sponsor can achieve. Culture should also not fall short. Together with visiting the most important sites in the Lebanon, a short excursion to Damascus provides the submersion into a very old and historical oriental city with its extensively preserved old town, colourful bazaars, caravansaries and mosques.
